What we collect

Files you upload. Images you submit for conversion to text, plus the settings you choose (language, export formats). We process files on our own server to convert them — that is the service. On paid plans, a page the first OCR pass cannot read may be sent to a vision-model service for a high-accuracy re-read; the image is sent only for that transcription and is not retained by us beyond the 72-hour window.

Account data. If you register, we store your email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself), your plan, and a list of your conversions (file names, formats, page counts, timestamps).

Guest use. If you convert without an account, we use a random cookie to tell your conversions apart from other guests'. If you type an email address into the tool, we use it only to send you that conversion's result.

How long we keep files

Uploaded files and converted results are deleted automatically 72 hours after each conversion, together with the conversion record's file references. Backups do not include user files. Conversion metadata (file names, counts, formats) may be kept longer for accounting and abuse prevention.

What we never do

Payments

Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive subscription status and a customer reference, never your card number.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to count page views and conversions. Your uploaded files and their contents are never part of analytics.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what account data we hold about you, and ask for your account and its data to be deleted. Contact us through the feedback page and we will act on it within 30 days.
